It's helpful to have a tool that quantifies your experience in keys, and it can show you exactly how far you've come. I was downright afraid of running M+ in Legion, but after a few low keys with friends went well, I started looking at raider.io, and it almost gamified the progress I was making, which was great. With a more positive mindset, it can actually be used as a motivational tool. I wish Blizzard would block their access to its API. This add-on enables elitism and discriminatory behaviour in players worse than even Gearscore years ago. Tends to happen when your service is 10x better than the others. I'm pretty sure the queues only exist because there's a lot more people using RaiderIO than the competition. Unfortunately Blizzard's "Unknown" bug makes Raider.IO useless for me for M+ atm. The client also empowers and enables other features: But on top of that, the client enables several in-game features that you just can’t get otherwise: It simplifies managing the RaiderIO addon by automatically keeping it in sync and updated to the latest data (which it can grab more frequently - up to 4x per day for Revered Patreon subscribers).
